  • Dr. Kai Hudetz

    Managing Director, IfH Institut für Handelsforschung GmbH

    Since August 2009, Dr. Kai Hudetz has been the Managing Director of the IFH Institut für Handelsforschung GmbH (IFH Köln) in Cologne, Germany. From its founding in 1999 until 2011 he has been in charge of the eCommerce-Center (ECC Köln) which is a business unit of the IFH Köln. In 2003, Dr. Hudetz was appointed to the advisory board of the BMWi promotion project PROZEUS (processes and standards) and in May 2007 he was appointed to the advisory board of the European Union’s project “e-Business Market Watch – The Retail Industry”. He was a member of the commission for definition of trade and distribution initiated by the BMWi which lead to the 5th edition of the catalog E in the beginning of 2006. In 2013, Dr. Hudetz was appointed to the Supervisory Board of Intershop. He is a guest lecturer at various Universities particularly at the European University of Applied Sciences Brühl, the University of St. Gallen and at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University of Heidenheim.

    Mark is Senior Vice President of Product and Strategy for eBay Enterprise and is also the General Manager for Magento. Mark joined eBay Inc. in 2008 through the acquisition of Bill Me Later, the company he co-founded in 2001. During his tenure at eBay Inc., Mark has developed strategic initiatives and joint ventures with companies that included Softbank, Samsung, Google, Facebook, Apple and Microsoft.

    CTO, eBay Enterprise

    Brent joined eBay Enterprise as chief technology officer in April 2013. As CTO, Brent is responsible for eBay Enterprise’s technology platforms and operations and continuing to drive innovation within and across solutions. He also leads development of eBay Enterprise’s mobile capabilities and deeper integration with Magento, Marketplaces, PayPal, and other eBay Inc. assets. Brent joined eBay Enterprise from IBM, where he spent more than 20 years leading large teams in software development and technical strategy. At IBM, he led organizations such as WebSphere, Lotus, and most recently within IBM GTS, he was responsible for the development of IBM SmartCloud Enterprise+.

    Paul is Director of Product Management for Magento and is leading product management for Magento 2. Paul has been working at eBay Inc. since 2011 and joined Magento in 2012. Prior to joining eBay Inc., Paul led product development for Yahoo! Small Business inclusive of the eCommerce, hosting, business mail and domains businesses serving over 1 million small businesses.

    Michael has been working in the retail sector for over 20 years and has a unique blend of strategic consulting and operational retail experience. Prior to eBay Inc., he served as Executive Director in the Retail Practice of Accenture, where he built and led the German, Swiss, and Austrian retail business with focus on multichannel project work. Previously, Michael served as the COO for Real, a German Hypermarket chain with net sales of 7B EUR, 290 stores and 28,000 employees.

    Andreas is the Senior Director Merchant Development Germany for eBay. In this function, he supervises the business development and improvement of major retailers and industrial brands at eBay in Germany. Before joining eBay, Andreas Lippert held different senior management positions at Loewe AG, Kodak and Bang & Olufsen.

The new site launched mid-September 2014.
