    Mark became CEO of Magento Commerce in November 2015, after serving as Senior Vice President of Product for eBay Enterprise. Previously, Mark held a number of leadership positions within eBay Inc., including Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for both eBay Inc. and PayPal. Mark co-founded Bill Me Later, acquired by eBay in 2008. He has spent more than 20 years building businesses at the intersection of the internet, commerce, and information technology. Mark's background includes successfully developing and executing global growth strategies, acquisitions and joint ventures, startup fundraising, and investing.
  • Dries Buytaert

    Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder, Acquia

    Dries is the CTO and Co-Founder of Acquia, and is also the original creator and project lead for Drupal. Acquia is a venture-backed technology company that helps large organizations build and operate their digital experiences, and is the open source web platform used by 1 out of 40 websites in the world. Dries was born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium but moved to Boston in 2010. He holds a Licentiate Computer Science degree from the University of Antwerp, and a PhD in computer science and engineering from Ghent University. He was named CTO of the Year by the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council, New England Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young, a Young Innovator by MIT Technology Review, and a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. In Belgium, he was named University of Antwerp Alumnus of the Year 2010 and DataNews ICT Personality of the Year 2014.
  • Jason Woosley

    Jason is the SVP of Product & Technology, responsible for delivery and execution across the Magento portfolio. Prior to joining Magento, Jason served as the CTO at SmarterHQ and before that as Vice President of Product Development at Volusion. A veteran commerce technologist with over 15 years of proven success in building scalable software delivery organizations, Jason earned his BBA from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business. He completed his graduate studies at MIT with an MBA from the Sloan School of Management.

She has also held marketing positions at Inktomi, E*TRADE, and Apple.

    Mobile & Data Specialist, Inviqa

    Grant is a mobile and data specialist who is passionate about innovation and analytics. At Inviqa he helps customers to leverage Google Analytics and similar technologies to grow their sites. Grant has an extensive eCommerce background in working on both the client and agency side, having worked for brands including Tesco and McDonalds. When he’s not coding, Grant runs one of the largest hackathon groups in Europe.

    Alan joined the Magento team in 2013, focusing on the new Magento 2 platform. Today, Alan is responsible for the integration of several Magento related initiatives, including integration with order management and in-store retail associate tools. Alan grew up in Melbourne, Australia, and joined eBay in 2011 to lead the team that rewrote the eBay distributed search engine from the ground up.

Kurt Geiger has over 70 stores and 170 concessions located within the world’s most prestigious department stores.

    Nobody knows Magento like Ben Marks. The Magento ‘Evangelist’ has spent more than a decade developing open source commerce, and was one of the first Magento U instructors. Ben joined the company in 2011 after six years of Magento development and education at Blue Acorn, where he was employee number one. Since then, he’s been a proud representative of Magento and its vast ecosystem of talented developers. You can usually find Ben at home in Charleston, South Carolina, on a plane, or behind a drum kit.

    Robert is the Head of Magento Business Intelligence at Magento Commerce and the Chairman of Stitch. He was previously Co-Founder and CEO of RJMetrics, a SaaS business intelligence company with the mission of inspiring and empowering data-driven people. RJMetrics was acquired by Magento Commerce in 2016. Robert’s writing about technology, startups, and data has appeared in the New York Times, Forbes, TechCrunch, VentureBeat, and many other publications. Outside of the tech scene, Robert is an improv comedy performer at the Philly Improv Theater and a Trustee of the Glassboro Education Foundation, a nonprofit committed to supporting educational innovation in his hometown school district.

    As the Community Manager for Magento, Sherrie connects people with resources and with each other. Sherrie was originally introduced to Magento as a developer for a merchant and, while an active community member and forum moderator, was able to experience working with the platform from a technology partner and solution integrator as well. She also co-produces a monthly broadcast for community professionals called #CMGRHangout. An ENFP, Sherrie is obsessed with innovation, terrified of status quo, and motivated by adventure.

    Edward has over 16 years of experience in eCommerce. He spent his early career in systems integration, and moved to Germany to head up international eCom sales for Europe’s largest online music retailer, Musikhaus Thomann. Edward is proud to lead eCommerce operations across Europe and Australia for The Gro Company, creators of the multi-million selling, multi-award winning baby sleep bag, Grobag. Edward and his team are currently focused on migrating to M2EE and later this year they will relaunch their eCom channel Gro-store.

    Peter is a well-known industry expert in eCommerce and omnichannel technology. Before joining Magento Commerce, he was Vice President and Principal Analyst at Forrester Research. There he spent five years leading the company’s global research on digital commerce technologies, and helping to challenge the thinking and lead change for eCommerce executives undertaking major digital transformation and commerce technology programs. Today, Peter leads corporate strategy and business development for Magento Commerce.

Guliz has held several roles designing world-class products and services for Intel, Kronos, Dassault Systèmes, and many other software companies. She is passionate about designing user-friendly products and loves to enjoy the great outdoors with her family.

    A graduate of the class of 1979, Riccardo grew up on bread and computer science (he received his first PC as a gift at the age of six). As the mainstay of the technical department for MageSpecialist, he is the Senior Analyst and Software Architect, Magento Specialist, Senior PHP Developer, and Technical Manager.

In each of these companies he has dealt with different technologies, from bespoke in-house solutions to Magento, each with their own customer-focused challenges. Previously, he has spent time in technology leadership roles with O2, Betfair, LMAX, and GlassesDirect. Now, as CTO at Graze, he is leading their push to use technology and a unique customer proposition to drive the business forward.
