  • Mark Lavelle

    CEO, Magento Commerce

    Mark became CEO of Magento Commerce in November 2015, after serving as Senior Vice President of Product for eBay Enterprise. Previously, Mark held a number of leadership positions within eBay Inc., including Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for both eBay Inc. and PayPal. Mark co-founded Bill Me Later, acquired by eBay in 2008. He has spent more than 20 years building businesses at the intersection of the internet, commerce, and information technology. Marks’s background includes successfully developing and executing global growth strategies, acquisitions and joint ventures, startup fundraising, and investing.

  • Steve Yankovich

    CPO, Magento Commerce

    Steve is a highly experienced executive, specialising in innovation, commerce, and product development. As an inventor, he holds a portfolio of 36 patents covering a broad spectrum of technology and software. In 2009, Steve created the mobile business at eBay, growing it from scratch to $13 billion in 2012. He was named a ‘Top 10 Mobile Commerce Chief’ by Internet Retailer and is a regular invited speaker for events and media. Steve also serves on the board of Rosetta Stone, numerous startups, the PayPal Giving Fund, and advises several venture firms.

    Paul is Vice President of Product Management for Magento. He started working at eBay Inc. in 2011 and joined Magento in 2012. Prior to joining eBay Inc., Paul led Product Management for Yahoo! Small Business, where over one million small businesses were provided eCommerce, hosting, business mail, and domain business solutions.

  • Martin Hjalm

    Global Director of eCommerce, Brown-Forman

    Martin is a digital strategist with a passion for consumer-centered design and innovation. He started his career in traditional marketing, working with direct mail, print, and TV advertising, but has spent the last 11 years of his career focused on eCommerce, online media, web, social, and mobile strategy. Martin joined Brown-Forman in the autumn of 2015 as the Director of Global eCommerce. In his role, Martin is focused on leading Brown-Forman’s global eCommerce strategy and roadmap across the company’s various spirit brands and markets. Before joining Brown-Forman, Martin worked for Humana, a Fortune 100 health and wellness company, in the areas of eCommerce, digital strategy, and innovation.

  • Paul McDermott

    Head of eCommerce, Poundland

    At Poundland, Paul is responsible for the multi-channel roadmap at one of the UK’s largest discount and value retailers. Working closely with Ampersand Commerce, he built and developed the online marketing program, introduced new multichannel systems and processes, and successfully launched the eCommerce store.

    Paul is an experienced eCommerce leader with a proven track record of building, launching, and growing eCommerce in retailers and brands, including Speedo and Pentland. In addition, he played an important role in helping Great Universal Stores—now called Shop Direct—set up their first online businesses in the mid-1990s.

  • PJ Utsi

    Co-Founder & COO, Vaimo

    PJ is one of the Co-Founders of Vaimo and currently serves as Chief Creative Officer. He is the creative engine and digital evangelist of the Vaimo Group and orbits in and around the User Experience and eCommerce Strategy fields. With a special focus on omnichannel, mobile, brands, and apparel, he keeps a constant focus on driving key Vaimo clients onward and upward.

    Practice Manager of Professional Services, Bronto

    Saima has over 10 years of experience in the marketing technology industry, working alongside clients in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.     Alex joined Oliver Sweeney, a premium luxury shoe and menswear brand created in 1989, over two years ago. He has 12 years’ experience in International Direct Marketing and eCommerce, and is currently working to re-platform Oliver Sweeney on Magento Enterprise Cloud Edition.

    Sr. Technical Product Manager, Magento Commerce

    Mark is a Senior Technical Product Manager at Magento, where he functions as the lead product manager for B2B features and APIs. He joined Magento in early 2015 and brings more than 13 years of experience in corporate finance, product management, business intelligence, and online advertising. Before joining Magento, Mark designed the yield reporting system for Microsoft’s display advertising business to support pricing and revenue optimization worldwide. Mark holds an MBA with distinction from London Business School.

  • Max Bucknell

    Software Developer, Redbox Digital

    Max is a software developer at Redbox Digital, specializing in JavaScript and for the past year has worked almost exclusively with Magento 2. He is very passionate about the Magento community and can often be found at community events including the London Magento Meetup, or MageTitans. Outside of work, he is an avid rugby fan and a keen cook.

  • Paul Cooling

    Digital Content & eCommerce Manager, Uniphar

    Paul is an experienced digital executive, leader, and strategist. He’s worn many hats in his career to date–Supply Chain, Business Development, Entrepreneur & Project Management mainly in the fast-moving consumer good, pharmaceutical and digital start-up space. He’s passionate about all things digital and in his current role at Uniphar, he’s helping drive an innovative, complex digital strategy to serve the requirements of its pharmaceutical healthcare customers in a challenging environment.

  • Hillary Corney

    Magento U Business Architect, Magento Commerce

    Originally a lecturer in computing in art and design, Hillary has been involved in eCommerce for over 20 years. In 1995, he developed the very first eCommerce website and card payment internet gateway in the UK for Fontworks Ltd. He has since architected many eCommerce sites both big and small. Before Joining Magento in June 2015, he re-platformed Ordnance Survey’s eCommerce shop on Magento Enterprise Edition, resulting in a dramatic increase in sales. At Magento, he works as a Business Architect with several major clients, and is now helping to develop teaching material for Magento 2 with Magento U.

  • James Cowie

    Technical Team Lead, Inviqa

    James is a Technical Team Lead and ‘Magento 2016 Magento Mover’ with over 10 years’ experience in PHP and web applications. When not at work, he likes to work on Behavior-Driven Development and Test-Driven Development tools, and is a maintainer of MageSpec and BehatMage. He also co-presents MageCasts.IO with Allan MacGregor where he helps educate people on SOLID, TDD, and BDD.

  • David Deppner

    VP of Information Technology & eCommerce, ClearBags.com

    David is the Vice President of Information Technology & eCommerce at ClearBags.com, where he built one of the first B2B Magento sites. He is also the President of Psyberware, an eCommerce search marketing company. He holds degrees in Computer Science and Business Management, and a master’s degree in Business Administration. David brings over 20 years of experience managing internet businesses, eight years running a multi-million-dollar Magento website, a technical and business education, and the practical experience of running a company.

    Skip is the Chair Judge for the Direct Marketing Association awards and Client Services Director for dotmailer. He was listed by Revolution Magazine as one of the 50 most influential people in new media.

    eCommerce Manager, Björn Borg

    As eCommerce Manager at Björn Borg, Noelia is commercially and technically responsible for bjornborg.com and the delivery of the Magento Enterprise Edition platform. Noelia has a background as a digital marketer with over 15 years’ experience with some of Sweden’s largest media companies. She transitioned into pure eCommerce in 2009 by joining Consortio Fashion Group. While there, her team worked on Halens.se and was awarded Sweden’s ‘Best Site of the Year’ and ‘Best eCommerce’ in both 2010 and 2012.

He has an MBA with a focus in Operations Management, and an MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan.

    Gordon is a Business Solutions Architect with over 15 years of experience in web development and enterprise architecture. He has worked with the Magento platform for over five years and deployed some of the most advanced and complex implementations and marquee brands. At Magento, Gordon is continuing this work at the Magento Expert Consulting Group with a focus on the evolution of Magento 2. Having led the merchant beta program since mid-2015 working directly with a select group of merchants, he has extensive knowledge of migrating to, and implementing on, Magento 2.

  • Tom Lodge

    eCommerce Director, Links of London

    Currently working as an independent Strategic Consultant, Tom provides merchants and Solution Partners with advice and direction in and around eCommerce, IT, and operations ecosystems. Tom is currently engaged by Magento Client Services and also FF Group providing advice on eCommerce and IT strategy. Tom was previously eCommerce Director for Links of London, and has also worked for Magento as part of their Expert Consulting Group. Before joining Magento, Tom worked for the luxury and fashion shoe retailer Kurt Geiger for over 12 years, initially as Head of Information Systems, and then for the last six years as Head of eCommerce.

    Rowan is Head of eCommerce at Radley & Co., a leading affordable luxury accessories brand originating in London that delights customers worldwide with beautiful products and unique designs. She runs their global eCommerce business, managing the operations and trade of a suite of websites, and leading a team focused on development, digital marketing, and customer experience. Rowan has worked in online marketing and eCommerce for over 10 years. Her interest in eCommerce lies in understanding the psychology of the consumer, and online user behaviour.

  • Philipp Lüders

    Philipp is Vice President of Sales and Customer Relationship Management at Zoro Europe. He has been with Zoro.de since its inception in 2014 and accompanied the growth from a three-person startup to a multi-million dollar revenue business. Prior to his position at Zoro.de, he held various positions at United Internet, Europe’s largest internet specialist. Philipp is a sales automation enthusiast and an expert in designing and promoting internet-based business models for B2B customers.

  • Sergey Lysak

    Sergey is a gruaduate of the National Technical University of Ukraine. Sergey joined Magento in 2007, where he focused on Magento Core development. In March 2011, he left Magento and co-founded Eltrino, serving B2C and B2B web stores. Eltrino delivers front-end and back-end Magento development, integrations and functional improvements, custom modules and extensions, eCommerce consulting and managed services, as well as DiamanteDesk, an open source customer care solution.

    Max is the Chief Technical Officer at TheIrishStore.com and GiftsDirect.com, Ltd. in Dublin, Ireland. Max started his career at Magento in 2010 in the Expert Consulting Group and continued that role until 2012. In 2013, Max switched to a managerial role, building highly effective teams and delivering on commitments for the Magento 2 release. Since 2015, he has built technical solutions based on Magento 1 and 2. Max is also an active member of the Magento Community.

    Before Magento, Bhavin played product and technology leadership roles at various companies in the San FranciscoBay Area. Most recently, he was at Intuit Inc. leading a product organization within the Intuit Developer Group, where his team launched and scaled Intuit’s developer experience and app store.

  • Kristof Ringleff

    Founder, Fooman

    Kristof is the Founder of Fooman, a Magento Technology Partner and extension provider trusted by agencies and merchants around the world. He’s been coding with Magento since its first release and has developed more than 15 free, and commercial, extensions to simplify administration, saving time and money. Kristof is a ‘Magento Master’, certified as Magento Developer Plus and enjoys contributing to community discussions, mostly via Twitter and Magento Stack Exchange. He runs the local Magento Meetup group in Auckland, New Zealand.

    Mark is eCommerce Director at Macfarlane Group, PLC., which is the UK’s largest packaging distribution company. Having worked for the group since 2000, he joined the business as IT Director, moving in 2009 to head up its eCommerce strategy. Mark comes from a background in technical solution implementation, having led projects for organizations from the aviation, pharmaceutical, construction, and retail sectors.

    Peter is a well-known industry expert in eCommerce and omnichannel technology, having previously held the role of Vice President and Principal Analyst at Forrester Research. He spent five years leading Forrester’s global research on digital commerce technologies. There he helped to challenge thinking, and lead change for eCommerce executives, while undertaking major digital transformation and commerce technology programs. Today, Peter leads corporate strategy and business development for Magento.

    Rob is a Senior Director of Product Management responsible for guiding Magento’s order management and omnichannel fulfillment strategy and roadmap. Rob has extensive experience working with online merchants, retailers, branded manufacturers, and consumer packaged goods companies to deploy commerce technologies in innovative, differentiated ways. Rob has a particular interest in leveraging supply chain, inventory, and logistics innovation to enable transformative commerce experiences.

  • Marcin Szterling

    Marcin is a Senior Magento Developer with 16 years of hands-on PHP experience and six years of Magento experience. He currently works for Redbox Digital, Ltd., a Magento Gold Partner, in London.     As Customer Relationship Manager at Slendertone, Doug works with Magento and dotmailer to deliver connected customer experiences that help Slendertone users achieve their goals. Doug was previously Marketing Manager for an independent CRM consultancy firm. He has worked with dotmailer for over five years, focusing heavily on the use of automation to deliver the right message, to the right person, at the right time.

  • Karen Taylor

    UK eCommerce Manager, Brown-Forman

    Karen joined Brown-Forman in 2015 to manage the launch of the Jack Daniel’s eCommerce website. Today she is responsible for The Jack Store’s ongoing trading and consumer experience. She also oversees the American Whiskey website, which focuses on consumer education of all things whiskey.

    Karen has a background in luxury and fashion eCommerce, spanning over 12 years. She has worked with fine jewellery manufacturer Astley Clarke, and site-managed the jewellery and watch stores for Amazon.
