Mark became CEO of Magento Commerce in November 2015, after serving as Senior Vice President of Product for eBay Enterprise. Previously, Mark held several leadership positions within eBay Inc., including Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for both eBay Inc. and PayPal. Mark co-founded Bill Me Later, acquired by eBay in 2008. He has spent more than 20 years building businesses at the intersection of the internet, commerce, and information technology. Mark’s background includes successfully developing and executing global growth strategies, acquisitions and joint ventures, startup fundraising, and investing.
SVP of Strategy & Growth, Magento Commerce
Most recently Mark was a Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase leading digital and payments strategy. Previously, Mark led PayPal’s strategy team, developing and driving PayPal’s overall strategic direction and vision. His team was responsible for key product and business unit plans underpinning PayPal’s core business growth as well as expansion in mobile, omnichannel, and product extensions (e.g., credit). Prior to PayPal, he co-founded sneakpeeq (currently Symphony Commerce), an early social commerce innovator. He also co-founded Black Mountain Equity, a private equity firm focused on sourcing and making investments in mid-sized technology and services companies.
Managing Director, PayPal India
Anupam is the Managing Director for PayPal in India. He is responsible for all aspects of the business and for further strengthening the company’s operations in the country. Anupam is a veteran at PayPal and prior to taking on this responsibility, was the General Manager of Technology for PayPal in Asia-Pacific. He was responsible for the business operations and management of the Asia-Pacific technology centers located in Bangalore, Chennai, Singapore, and Shanghai. Anupam serves on the Board of several companies and non-profit organizations. He is an avid inventor with several patents to his credit in the payments space.
SVP of Product & Technology, Magento Commerce
Jason is the SVP of Product & Technology, responsible for delivery and execution across the Magento portfolio. Prior to joining Magento, Jason served as the CTO at SmarterHQ and before that as Vice President of Product Development at Volusion. A veteran commerce technologist with over 15 years of proven success in building scalable software delivery organizations, Jason earned his BBA from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business and completed his graduate studies at the MIT with an MBA from the Sloan School of Management.
Magento U Trainer and VP of Development, Wagento
Vijay’s career started with Magento Commerce in 2009. During the initial years, he gained experience in different skills like Magento customization, extension development/integration, API integration, and Magento performance. Since he joined Wagento, Vijay has worked with both M1 and M2, Magento migration projects, and Magento Marketplace. He currently serves in the role of VP of Development at Wagento and is a Magento U authorized trainer.

Outi is the Director of Channel Sales, North America for Magento Commerce. Outi is passionate about the eCommerce market and has extensive experience working in the APAC region building partnerships with solution integrators via the partner program to drive tangible results for Magento Commerce.

Ian joined Magento earlier this year to head up Magento sales in APAC having spent more than 20 years building and managing successful sales teams across Asia. Prior to joining Magento, Ian was Vice President for SAP Hybris where he was also lead sales for APAC. He was also founder and CEO of Avartis, a cloud software company specializing in Business Intelligence solutions as well as being founder and CEO of a successful global technology and services company
Software Architect, Magento Commerce
Oleksii started his career with Magento Commerce more than five years ago as a Senior Core Engineer on the Magento 2 project. He had the unique opportunity to be part of the first core team which was working on the Magento 2.0 framework components. Since Magento 2.1, Oleksii has worked as an Architect on Enhanced Checkout Flow and Scalability features. Currently, Oleksii is a part of the new Magento Community Engineering team, working to simplify the contribution process for Magento 2 community developers.

Ben joined Magento Commerce three years ago after six years of Magento development and education at Blue Acorn. He has been a part of community outreach as well as education and certification programs. He’s spent over a decade working in the open source commerce space.
Director, Channel Sales, APAC, Magento Commerce
Dene leads Channel Sales for Magento Commerce in the APAC region. Based in Singapore, Dene works with the Magento ecosystem across the region to drive year over year revenue growth via the Magento Solution Partner Program. Prior to joining Magento, Dene held similar roles at Oracle, Microsoft, and HP.
Community Manager, Magento Commerce
As the Community Manager for Magento, Sherrie connects people with resources and with each other. Sherrie was originally introduced to Magento as a developer for a merchant and, while an active community member and forum moderator, was able to experience working with the platform from a technology partner and solution integrator as well. She also co-produces a monthly broadcast for community professionals called #CMGRHangout. An ENFP, Sherrie is obsessed with innovation, terrified of status quo, and motivated by adventure.
Talesh started working with Magento in the early days of Magento Beta. In the past seven years, he has transitioned into the role of Magento Architect, working with companies to direct (and occasionally rescue) their Magento projects. Throughout his 18 years working with web application development, Talesh has held a keen interest in online security issues. Given the recent renewed interest in web application security, he has started evangelizing defensive development practices in the Magento community.
Director of Community Engineering, Magento Commerce
Max began his career with Magento Commerce more than seven years ago as a member of the Expert Consulting Group (ECG). During his tenure with ECG, Max worked with large enterprise accounts on complex customizations, integrations, and performance projects. Subsequently, Max moved into leadership roles within the Magento product development organization including Magento 1, Magento Go, and Magento Connect. In 2013, Max assumed leadership of the Magento 2 program and he continues in that role.
